Freshly, Government of Uttar Pradesh (A state in India) has declared that they are going to work on an expressway which is the world's longest expressway. This expressway will be known as Ganga Expressway. This will connect Prayagraj city with Western UP.

Actually, UP govt approved the construction of this expressway for the convenience in travelling between Prayagraj and Western UP. After this construction, many travellers get benefits of this expressway. This news was declared by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in a cabinet meeting.

Uttar Pradesh govt is going to construct the world’s longest expressway. Yogi Adityanath chief minister of UP government has planned for the construction of the Ganga Expressway and also got approval for that in a cabinet meeting. This upcoming expressway will provide better connectivity between Allahabad (Prayagraj) and other western districts. This expressway will be 600 km long.
As per Yogi Adityanath's statement, this new expressway (Ganga Expressway) will be the longest expressway in the world.

The Ganga expressway will pass over Meerut, Amroha, Bulandshahr, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Kannauj, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj. Expressway will start from Meerut and ends at Prayagraj. This huge expressway will acquire 6,556 hectares of land and it will be four-lane which will be expanded to six-lane soon after construction.

The estimated cost of this project will be Rs 36,000 crore.
